Jan Shepherd Fine Art

Welcome to my website and the gallery of paintings I created through the talent given to me by God.   My passion is to develop that gift by re-creating, to the best of my ability, the things that excite and inspire me.

I am currently taking commissions for portraits of your favorite animal.  People love their animals and I can feature them by painting  a beautiful rendition from a photograph provided by their owner.  Whether living or deceased, allow me to immortalize your pet  for you to remember them always.

My favorite artist is Normal Rockwell and I enjoy his approach to painting from a candid point of view.  You will see that in a few of the works that I have used my granddaughters as muses for.

I sign all my work with this scripture....Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart."
